Why You Need Water (Part 2)
In my last post we talked about the importance of water to the body, and I hope it scared a whole bunch of you into drinking a giant bottle of some ice cold agua. (That’s good and all, but don’t overdo it and forget to eat. It’s called moderation.) But for the rest of you who still need some convincing, here is part two of the why you need water series.

Why You Need Water (Part 2: Slim Down)
I’ve said it before and I will probably say it many times again… that crazy wrap thing works best when you drink water. It’s really not that difficult to understand why. Water and weight gain unfortunately go together like peanut butter and jelly.
(Yes, I’m thinking about food. Skinny girls can think about food!)
Fight Water Weight With Water
First things first, and let me make this clear: the It Works! Body Wraps (aka The Ultimate Body Applicator) do not get rid of water weight. You know what does get rid of water weight? Drinking water does. These wraps get your body in check in the slimming department, there is no doubt about it, and if you don’t believe me, check out my before and after pictures. But what good is shrinking the fat if you’re still bloated?
That is why you have to drink water! You won’t see the results if you’re still carrying a whole bunch of water weight. Using the wrap and not drinking the water is like… well… it’s you wasting your money is basically what it boils down to. And SO many people do this! They will email me complaining that they saw no results from these wraps, and then go on to tell me that its hard for them to drink the required amount of water for their body weight. Well, congratulations… you just wasted your money. You already know why they didn’t work – it had nothing to do with the product, because hello, IT WORKS. It had everything to do with you not using it properly. Either way, you will not see the new slimmer you if drinking water is a huge problem for you. Fact.
Drink Enough Water
Most people do not realize that the heavier you are, the more water you should drink. This frequently gets in the way of success with the It Works! Body Wraps. Not drinking enough water will categorically affect the results. Many of you already know about the recommendation of drinking glasses per day. I feel like we’ve been told this from the time we could drink water in genera. What many people don’t realize, however, is that that recommendation is for overall good health, NOT for reducing water weight!
There are a couple of ways to calculate how much water you should be getting. Specifically when using the wraps, you need to be drinking at least half of your body weight in ounces of water daily. I have a handy little chart that I put together that shows this on my Mandatory How To & Tips page. Another way is to keep a record of how much water you are drinking and monitor your urine. If your urine is bright or dark yellow, you are not drinking enough water and should drink more. There is a very convenient app I’ve found called iDrated, and I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to keep track of their daily water intake. It’s simple to use, and among other things, will actually give your phone reminders of when you need to have a water in hand! Genius.

Water Cleanses the Body
Water is pretty awesome by itself, but that crazy wrap thing takes the power of water to a completely different level. Water is naturally cleansing. Our wraps extend water’s cleansing ability by getting rid of the junk that our bodies just love to store up like little chipmunks with their nuts in the winter. Water works with the wraps by pushing the junk out of the body. If left in the body, those impurities will make you fat. It’s that simple.
